Senior Test Engineer, Hypersonics and Strategic Missile Defense

The Senior Test Engineer role is onsite in Mukilteo, WA. Compensation is $120,000–$165,000 per year. The position supports Karman Space & Defense's Hypersonics and Strategic Missile Defense business, which develops missile systems for hypersonic and strategic missile defense missions. The role provides technical leadership and program execution support for complex aerospace and defense system development. It contributes to mechanical and electromechanical design, analysis, prototyping, and testing, helping multidisciplinary teams deliver systems that meet customer, performance, budget, and schedule objectives.

• Lead project planning, development, and execution for mechanical system development

• assist program managers and project engineers in meeting customer objectives on time and within budget

Why this role

Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, 4–7 years of aerospace mechanical development experience, SolidWorks and GD&T proficiency, and a current DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.
