The Senior Perception Engineer role is onsite in Denver, CO. Base salary is $145,000–$190,000 per year. Rendezvous Robotics is developing electromagnetic self-assembling spacecraft tiles to enable larger, more capable spacecraft.

What you'll do

• Own relative navigation for proximity operations and docking, including perception, sensor fusion, and state estimation
• develop the tile vision system for detection, calibration, pose estimation, and robust tracking
• design and verify relative-state estimators
• derive sensor measurement models
• define navigation accuracy and interface requirements
• build calibration, ground-truth, simulation, and test infrastructure
• verify performance through hardware-in-the-loop experiments
• implement onboard algorithms in C++ and supporting tools in Python
• and support flight operations and on-orbit anomaly investigations.
