Part-Time Delivery Driver

The Part-Time Delivery Driver role is onsite in Commerce City, CO, with a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday schedule from 6:30 a.m. to noon. Pay is $19.29 per hour. The driver supports Volunteers of America Colorado programs, including Seniors' Nutrition, Meals on Wheels, Residential, and Head Start. The role moves meals, supplies, and mail from the Central Kitchen to scheduled delivery points, dining centers, and homebound clients. Accurate packing, safe route driving, food-safe handling, vehicle checks, and communication with program participants and partners help these services operate reliably.

What you'll do

• Assist with packaging and counting meals and milk
• load meals, supplies, and delivery equipment using route sheets and checklists
• deliver items on published routes
• maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness
• complete vehicle checks and report safety or mechanical issues
• deliver and return mail and client contribution bags
• assist with volunteer meal routes when a volunteer is unavailable
• and report delivery issues to a supervisor.
