The Campus Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence Advocate is an onsite, full-time role in Akron, OH, paying $18 per hour. Hope and Healing Survivor Resource Center provides advocacy and support to people and families affected by violence. The role helps survivors access resources and make informed decisions while maintaining confidential records and collaborating with allied professionals.

What you'll do

• Provide crisis intervention, advocacy, education on crime victims’ rights, and trauma-informed support in community and institutional settings
• manage a caseload, assess needs, develop individualized goal plans, provide referrals and emotional support, document contacts confidentially, complete required training, and collaborate with allied professionals and victim advocacy agencies. Some evenings, overnights, weekends, and on-call rotation are required.
