What you'll do

• Develops film, evaluating for technical quality.
• Transports patients to radiographic room.
• Prepares and maintains room.
• Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas.
• Reports unsafe conditions.
• Maintains X-ray and other equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance.
• Obtains patient history, answers questions, and explains procedures.
• Obtains vital signs and documentation.
• Prepares written documentation.
• Accesses, manipulates, stores, and creates CDs from PACS.
• Performs radiographic examinations.
• May assist with fluoroscopic and specialized interventional procedures.
• May perform non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures.
• Requests and orders supplies.
• Checks drug supplies.
