Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician position is onsite at an apartment community in Taunton, MA. Compensation is $28–$29 per hour. The technician supports Peabody Properties’ property management professionals and the efficient operation of the community. The role evaluates and responds to routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance needs across building systems, apartments, and grounds. By addressing repairs promptly and maintaining common areas and exterior spaces, the technician helps keep the property safe, clean, and operational.

What you'll do

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance involving electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, locks and keys, basic carpentry, painting, and drywall
• maintain cleanliness in common and assigned areas
• maintain exterior grounds and perform janitorial and snow-removal work
• respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner
• provide after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call coverage.
