The Day Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)-Basic role is onsite in Chicago, IL, at $18.50–$22.55 per hour. LifeLine Ambulance Illinois provides emergency and non-emergency medical response and patient transportation. The EMT provides basic paramedical care to ill or injured people, responds to calls, and transports patients to medical facilities while continuing care as needed. The role requires calm assessment and trained emergency procedures, as well as safe patient transfers and stretcher handling.

What you'll do

• Respond to emergency calls

• assess medical situations and perform trained emergency procedures
• transport patients to medical facilities and continue care as needed
• safely transfer patients and lift or carry stretchers into the ambulance.
