Manager of Applied AI Products

The Manager of Applied AI Products role is remote in the United States. The stated base salary is $120,000–$145,000 per year, excluding any applicable annual bonus. The role supports MedicatOne, an electronic health record platform for college health and counseling clinics. This player-coach role combines hands-on AI product development with roadmap collaboration, client engagement, team coaching, and internal AI governance. It exists to deliver compliant, useful AI capabilities that improve clinical and operational workflows for providers and to guide responsible AI use across the company.

What you'll do

• Partner with the MedicatOne Product Manager and product leadership on AI strategy, roadmap priorities, and evaluation frameworks. Translate provider needs and EHR workflow gaps into product proposals. Lead client discovery and communicate AI capabilities and roadmap. Personally design and build AI features, including LLM integrations, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, vector search, and data workflows
• own architecture through deployment and ensure reliability and HIPAA compliance. Collaborate with engineers, coach teammates, review employee-created AI tools for reliability, security, protected health information exposure, and compliance risk, and help establish AI practices and acceptable-use guidance.
