Director of Strategic Finance

Job overview

The Director of Strategic Finance role may be performed remotely from within the United States, with occasional travel to the Hamilton, WA site as needed. Compensation is $160,000–$200,000 per year, plus a discretionary bonus. Janicki Industries designs and builds engineering solutions for aerospace, space, defense, marine, and architecture industries. This new finance leadership role strengthens FP&A capability and financial decision-making as the business grows. It owns financial modeling, planning, reporting, and investment analysis, and partners with senior leaders to turn complex or uncertain business questions into actionable recommendations.

What you'll do

• Own financial modeling and analytical frameworks for budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditures, performance management, monthly close support, and long-range planning
• direct annual operating plans and quarterly forecasts
• analyze capital investments and high-impact initiatives
• oversee financial reporting, variance and scenario analysis, and stress testing
• develop financial and operational KPIs
• partner with Accounting to improve close and reporting processes
• oversee analyst and financial modeling work and build the FP&A team as it grows
• present recommendations to senior leadership.
