The Reading and Writing Specialist Consultant role is onsite in Manchester, NH, with compensation of $45 per hour and up to six hours monthly. The consultant supports Birch Academy students in grades K–6 with inclusive English Language Arts learning opportunities.

What you'll do

• Provide engaging, age-appropriate materials and curriculum
• conduct required in-person onsite consultation at least twice per month
• provide reading and writing learning experiences aligned with New Hampshire curriculum guidelines and district standards
• develop lesson plans and instructional materials
• collaborate with district staff, classroom teachers, and special education staff
• oversee reading and writing instruction
• and facilitate and supervise a reading support program.
