Job overview

The Property Maintenance Crew Member role is onsite in Peoria, IL. Pay is $18–$23 per hour. The position supports residential communities managed by M. Shapiro Real Estate Group and the onsite management team. The role exists to maintain community appearance, safety, and functionality through repairs, grounds work, and renovation support. Timely responses to resident and management requests help keep buildings and shared areas in working order.

What you'll do

• Perform general electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs
• troubleshoot and repair heating and cooling systems
• complete building and grounds maintenance
• mow, trim, edge, weed, mulch, and maintain landscaped areas
• operate and maintain lawn equipment
• respond to work orders and emergency service requests
• repair buildings, structures, and community equipment
• assist with home renovations and remodeling
• maintain records of scheduled maintenance and completed repairs
• participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
