What you'll do

• Review plans and specifications from bid through project review
• attend site visits and pre-bid meetings as applicable
• interpret bid documents and prepare scope summaries
• generate and track requests for information
• prepare takeoffs as needed
• manage bid requirements and communicate them to trade contractors
• create bidder lists and track participation
• develop and distribute trade scopes
• coordinate with subcontractors
• negotiate scope and price for awarded projects
• conduct turnover meetings with project managers
• represent estimating in preconstruction, budgeting, value engineering, and scope development.
