The Business Services Officer role is onsite in Box Elder, SD. Pay is $65,000–$120,000 per year plus bonus incentives. The position supports Sentinel Federal Credit Union’s Business/Commercial Lending team. The officer develops business relationships and evaluates commercial credit opportunities, helping members find appropriate lending and depository solutions. The role also manages an existing loan portfolio, maintains documentation and compliance, and collaborates with lending colleagues to support sound decisions and member service.

What you'll do

• Develop business banking relationships through community involvement, networking, and service
• advise members on business lending and depository needs
• analyze commercial loan requests and determine eligibility and structure
• negotiate loan terms
• monitor the commercial loan portfolio
• maintain financial and loan documentation
• participate in collections and revised repayment terms when appropriate
• prepare credit memorandums
• collaborate with credit analysts and loan processors
• recommend product improvements
• monitor lending standards and market conditions.

Why this role
