Grounds and Landscaping Maintenance Worker

The Grounds and Landscaping Maintenance Worker position is onsite in Canandaigua, NY, with pay of $19.50–$21.00 per hour. The role supports grounds and property upkeep at Holiday Harbour, reporting to the superintendent. The worker maintains landscaped areas and property grounds through mowing, trimming, planting, weeding, fertilizing, and seasonal snow and ice removal. Equipment servicing and periodic maintenance calls also help keep the property and its equipment in working order.

What you'll do

• Mow lawns and dispose of clippings
• string trim
• trim shrubs and trees
• rake and dispose of leaves
• weed and plant grass seed, flowers, shrubs, and trees
• fertilize
• perform grounds pickups
• remove dead shrubs and trees
• remove snow and ice, including snow blowing, shoveling, salting, and ice chopping
• service equipment with oil changes, blade sharpening, and routine maintenance
• respond to periodic maintenance calls when needed.
