• Provide Emergency Department patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• assess patients and communicate findings
• administer medications and monitor side effects
• document care
• apply safety, infection-control, and quality-improvement practices
• delegate care priorities and direct assigned personnel
• float as required.
