What you'll do

• Perform technical procedures for the assigned shift
• coordinate correlation, instrument comparison, and linearity studies
• review inventory and submit requisitions
• document corrective actions and evaluate quality-control data
• report patient results only when controls are acceptable
• oversee point-of-care program reports, meter downloads, and quality processes
• liaise with nursing staff on meter access, maintenance, training, and education
• ensure staff follow quality-control and critical-value policies
• troubleshoot equipment and arrange backup procedures
• review technical work, maintenance records, and corrective-action logs
• support staff coverage, orientation, and instruction
• supervise phlebotomists and assist with specimen processing as needed.
