Laser Safety Engineer

What you'll do

• Investigate and evaluate technical issues related to high-energy laser system safety
• provide system and safety engineering expertise during design, fabrication, and testing
• support field testing at military ranges and define safe laser operations
• work with government and contractor teams developing laser components, subsystems, and systems
• contribute to hardwire abort and satellite predictive avoidance methods
• help establish project requirements, costs, and schedules.
