The Pharmacist – Per Diem role is onsite at Brandon Community Pharmacy in the Rutland clinic in Rutland, VT. Pay is $55–$76.92 per hour. Community Health is a primary care network offering wellness, dental, behavioral health, pediatric, and walk-in Express Care services across Rutland and southern Addison counties. Under the pharmacy manager’s general supervision, the pharmacist dispenses medications and supports safe, accurate pharmacy operations. The role also includes medication management, patient counseling, oversight of pharmacy technicians, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

What you'll do

• Review, interpret, input, and dispense medications accurately
• perform drug therapy reviews and medication management
• counsel patients and answer questions about medications, services, and disease management
• prepare blister packs
• maintain pharmacy knowledge and complete required certifications, education credits, and training
• maintain drug storage and security
• answer telephones
• maintain recall records and stock inventory
• assist with third-party claims
• provide customer service and build relationships with patients, staff, medical professionals, and community stakeholders
• support the pharmacy manager
• oversee pharmacy technicians
• promote teamwork
• ensure pharmacy operations follow regulations, policies, and standards.

Why this role

Requires a pharmacist degree from an accredited institution and an active Vermont pharmacist license in good standing; PharmD is preferred. One to two years of experience is preferred.
