The CNC Manufacturing Operations Manager – Precision Turning & Swiss role is onsite in New Kensington, PA. Compensation is $75,000–$85,000 per year. The role supports QMP’s precision CNC turning and screw-machine component production for aerospace, medical, and military customers. The manager coordinates production workflow, quoting, scheduling, equipment use, and quality standards to keep work moving efficiently and protect profitability. The role also develops business opportunities, coaches employees, and leads continuous improvement while ensuring operations follow applicable regulations and company policies.

What you'll do

• Use JobBOSS or equivalent ERP to create quotes, launch jobs, and track completion
• generate new business through networking and strategic positioning
• partner with owners on production and quality benchmarks
• prepare competitive cost-based quotes and verify order pricing
• lead weekly production meetings
• coordinate organizational needs, equipment utilization, and maintenance plans
• coach team members
• document and implement continuous improvement
• manage production schedules
• ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
