This engineer develops, qualifies, and implements materials and manufacturing processes for flight-critical hardware from concept through production. The work supports material performance, process control, manufacturability, and compliance across aircraft development and production.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain material and manufacturing process specifications
• provide guidance on fatigue and corrosion prevention
• support environmental qualification testing
• design and implement qualification test plans
• develop QA inspection process specifications
• work with suppliers on process implementation
• assist with nonconformance disposition
• collaborate on material and manufacturing process selection.
