Substance Use Disorder Counselor I

The Substance Use Disorder Counselor I role is onsite in Bend, OR, with pay of $22.06–$28.94 per hour. The counselor is part of the Program’s Treatment Team, providing patient-centered substance use disorder services. The role supports clients and families through assessment, individualized treatment planning, counseling, case management, crisis intervention, referrals, and discharge planning. It also coordinates with treatment teammates, recovery resources, referral sources, and community agencies to support continuity of care.

What you'll do

• Complete intakes and assessments using ASAM criteria
• collaborate on individualized treatment plans
• provide individual, group, and family counseling and case management
• provide crisis intervention and referrals
• lead assigned recovery and psychoeducational groups
• coordinate with treatment teammates, recovery resources, and community agencies
• document services in the EHR and maintain regulatory compliance.

Why this role
