Job overview

The Maintenance Technician 2 role is onsite in Houston, TX, with compensation of $24–$25 per hour. TDP Bakery supplies fresh bakery products to retailers nationwide through its BakeFace private-label partnerships. The technician maintains production equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient bakery operations and reduce downtime. The role troubleshoots mechanical and electrical systems, completes maintenance records, follows food-safety and workplace standards, and collaborates with production, quality, and sanitation teams.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on bakery production equipment
• troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, motors, conveyors, and automated machinery
• interpret blueprints and schematics
• maintain HVAC and facility systems as needed
• complete work orders and maintenance documentation
• follow GMP, HACCP, and safety standards
• collaborate with Production, Quality, and Sanitation teams.
