Vice President of Service & Field Operations

Job overview

The Vice President of Service & Field Operations role is onsite in Buffalo, NY. Compensation is $250,000–$300,000 per year. GTI Fabrication is launching a service and field operations business unit to provide installation, aftermarket maintenance, repair, and technical field support for its equipment product lines. The VP will establish the unit’s strategy, commercial execution, operating infrastructure, organization, and financial accountability. The role is intended to build a scalable service business that supports GTI’s customers and strengthens service delivery as a competitive differentiator.

What you'll do

• Define market demand, customer segments, positioning, service tiers, pricing, and SLAs
• build and manage the service P&L
• integrate service packages, warranties, and SLAs into equipment contracts
• determine internal and partner capabilities and expand the service footprint
• establish field service playbooks, dispatch, work-order management, fleet logistics, tooling, and parts inventory
• set field safety and quality standards
• recruit and structure the field organization
• develop technical training
• deploy service management, CRM, mobile, and remote diagnostic systems
• establish feedback reporting and track performance indicators.
