Traveling Community Food Service Worker – Part-Time

Job overview

The Traveling Community Food Service Worker – Part-Time role is onsite and based at one location in Waltham or Marlborough, MA, not both. It pays $18 per hour for a 20-hour work week, generally Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.; hours may vary by location, including site openings at 7:30 a.m. Springwell’s Nutrition Program supports hunger relief and helps reduce isolation among older adults. The worker provides flexible coverage for daily program operations by delivering meals, serving at elder lunch sites, and helping staff meal staging or community dining sites as needed.

What you'll do

• Deliver meals to older adults
• serve meals at elder lunch sites
• cover staging or community dining sites and other projects as assigned
• use a reliable car and current driver’s license for the role
• mileage is included when covering a home-delivered meal route.
