The Registered Nurse (RN), Progressive Care Unit role is onsite in Sun City, AZ. Pay is $62–$65 per hour. The role provides care to patients who need monitoring and intervention between general medical-surgical and intensive care levels. The RN monitors patients with cardiac, respiratory, and other conditions requiring close observation, telemetry, and timely intervention. The role contributes to patient safety and continuity of care through assessment, treatment, communication, education, and documentation.

What you'll do

• Monitor telemetry and vital signs for early signs of deterioration. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and unit protocols. Assess patients and communicate changes in condition to the care team. Educate patients and families about disease processes, medications, and discharge planning. Assist with mobility, activities of daily living, and safety precautions
• document care and patient response.
