Program Aid/Specialist — Saluda River Academy of the Arts

The Program Aid/Specialist role is onsite in West Columbia, SC, part time, Monday through Friday between 2:00 and 6:30 p.m. for three to four hours per day, August through May, with summer hours varying. Pay is $12.50 per hour. The role supports Boys & Girls Club Crescent Region youth programs at Saluda River Academy of the Arts. The role plans, facilitates, and supervises activities while promoting member safety and program quality. It contributes to youth development through curriculum delivery, positive role modeling, mentoring, and accurate program records.

What you'll do

• Demonstrate and promote core values
• implement curriculum
• plan, facilitate, and supervise programs and activities
• provide guidance and role modeling
• create program displays and bulletin boards
• assist with national projects and exhibits
• mentor youth, adults, and volunteers in the creative process
• maintain participant, schedule, attendance, and program-result records
• and perform other assigned duties. First Aid/CPR is mandatory.
