What you'll do
- Set up, operate, maintain, and monitor grinding of work rolls and backup rolls for cold rolling and temper mill operations.
- Read production schedules and work orders, position rolls on grinding machines, adjust grinding controls, and inspect and test finished rolls against specifications.
- Maintain grinding equipment, record quality and coolant data, prepare rolls for storage or transport, and coordinate with other production departments.
