What you'll do

• Follow up on coordination-of-benefits and insurance ineligibility issues
• update insurance details and payer IDs
• monitor and resolve assigned outstanding claims
• manage workers’ compensation and attorney-related cases
• correct claim errors and rejections
• address medical-record deficiencies and process attorney requests
• audit patient statements and review high-balance accounts
• apply approved financial assistance discounts and service recovery adjustments
• document billing activity
• track billing metrics
• respond to internal inquiries
• answer patient and payer calls and resolve or route requests.
