What you'll do
- Maintain compliance with CMS risk adjustment diagnosis coding guidelines
- perform first-pass reviews of medical records and physician assessment forms using HCC coding
- assist with medical record intake and quality assurance
- participate in special projects as directed
- complete the required ICD-10 coding assessment
- obtain the Certified Risk Adjustment Coder certificate from AAPC within one year after training.
