Service Coordinator I, Generalist — Mental Health

The Service Coordinator I, Generalist — Mental Health role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA. Compensation is $25.48–$27.88 per hour. The position supports Step Up’s Department of Mental Health programs, which provide intensive services and resource connections for adults and transition-age youth experiencing mental illness and homelessness or housing instability. The coordinator conducts outreach and provides case management, clinical support, and connections to mental health care, housing, benefits, and community resources. The role also includes monitoring member stability, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, supporting independent living and housing retention, and completing required assessments and documentation.

What you'll do

• Conduct outreach and engage potential members
• provide resource linkage and case management
• support access to psychiatric and medical care, housing, benefits, and community services
• provide group clinical therapeutic and case management services
• make home visits as needed
• monitor stability and report crisis concerns
• coordinate transitions and participate in case conferences
• complete required assessments, records, and billing documentation.
