Clinical Supervisor

The Clinical Supervisor position is onsite in Canaan, Connecticut. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with scheduled on-call weekend and holiday coverage. Base pay is $80,000–$95,000 per year. The role provides clinical services and leadership within Mountainside Treatment Center’s residential program, supporting recovery from alcohol dependency and drug addiction. The supervisor combines individual and group therapy, assessment, treatment planning, and care coordination with clinical and administrative supervision of staff. The role supports evidence-informed care, staff development, quality, and strong client outcomes across the multidisciplinary treatment environment.

What you'll do

• Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-informed, recovery-oriented approaches
• complete assessments, screenings, treatment plans, progress notes, and clinical documentation
• coordinate care with clients, families, providers, referral sources, and external partners
• support utilization review and medical-necessity documentation
• lead daily clinical huddles
• coordinate admissions, length-of-stay reviews, discharge, and continuing-care planning
• provide clinical and administrative supervision, case consultation, coaching, and staff development
• review documentation and support quality initiatives, audits, accreditation readiness, curriculum development, and training
• manage clinical workflows and participate in scheduled on-call weekend and holiday coverage.
