The Senior Buyer role is onsite in Moorpark, CA. The annual salary range is $111,000–$188,500. The role supports AeroVironment’s procurement and supply chain activities for materials and services used in manufacturing and engineering environments. The role also supports procurement data and process improvements and works with finance and the Supply Chain Manager to resolve issues and meet company objectives.

What you'll do

• Review purchase requisitions and coordinate purchasing with manufacturing, planning, and engineering
• monitor subcontract cost, schedule, and scope
• negotiate terms and pricing
• develop new supply sources
• manage supplier relationships to improve cost, quality, and delivery
• prepare RFQ/RFP packages
• resolve accounting discrepancies with finance
• support procurement and materials projects
• and maintain supplier, quote, and part information.
