What you'll do

  • Assess, design, implement, and monitor student educational and behavior programs
  • collaborate on Individualized Education Programs and Behavior Intervention Plans
  • create teaching protocols and data collection systems
  • analyze progress and revise interventions
  • develop curriculum for independent living, community, social, academic, life, and vocational skills
  • train and supervise instructional assistants
  • coordinate communication with families and school districts
  • maintain student records and required reports.
