The Assistant Girls' Basketball Coach is an onsite, part-time seasonal role in New Lebanon, NY; compensation is $9,000–$12,500 per year. Darrow School’s position supports its girls’ basketball program and athletic department objectives. The coach helps build and sustain the program by recruiting, training, and coaching student-athletes. The role develops players’ skills and teamwork, coordinates practices and team logistics, and supports student-athletes’ growth, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the season.

What you'll do

• Manage and supervise practices, contests, and athletic activities
• coordinate program development, promotion, and retention
• liaise with Admissions and prospective student-athletes
• assist the Director of Athletics with team logistics
• develop practice schedules
• enforce student discipline and sportsmanship
• protect athletes, equipment, and facilities
• coordinate with college recruitment contacts
• attend school activities and professional development
• communicate with parents or guardians as needed.
