What you'll do

• Assist veterinarians with emergency and critical care cases
• perform triage and patient assessments
• collect diagnostic samples
• place and maintain IV catheters
• manage CRIs
• administer medications and IV fluids
• monitor anesthesia and assist with emergency procedures
• perform venipuncture and laboratory testing
• obtain radiographs
• monitor hospitalized and ICU patients
• calculate dosages and fluid rates
• document care
• communicate with pet owners
• prepare treatment areas and equipment
• support CPR and other life-saving procedures.
