The Dance Activity Instructor, LEAPS MS 363 & Creston Campus role is an onsite position at two Bronx, New York locations: 120 E 184th Street and 125 E. 181 Street. The instructor reports to the Program Director for LEAPS at MS 363 and Creston Campus. The instructor prepares and facilitates age- and skill-appropriate dance activities that support participants’ artistic, educational, and leadership development. The role creates structured, youth-centered activities that encourage teamwork, mastery, emotional growth, academic engagement, and a sense of belonging and safety.

What you'll do

• Prepare age- and skill-appropriate curriculum, lesson plans, activities, and projects for supervisor review
• facilitate scaffolded activities based on student interests
• support participants’ artistic, educational, and leadership potential
• promote teamwork, mastery, and emotional and professional growth
• facilitate community-hour activities
• engage in group conversations and support students’ academic success
• attend staff meetings.
