Behavioral Health Therapist

Job overview

The Behavioral Health Therapist role is onsite, based in Lost Hills, CA, with travel to other wellness centers in the Central Valley. Compensation is $90,000–$100,000 per year, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus and monthly car allowance. The Wonderful Company’s wellness programs provide care to employees, their families, and surrounding communities. The therapist works within an enhanced primary care team to support patients’ physical and mental health. The role screens and assesses behavioral health needs, provides brief evidence-based interventions, coordinates care and referrals, and tracks patient engagement and outcomes with primary care and psychiatric partners.

What you'll do

• Coordinate mental health care with primary care providers and other treating providers
• screen and assess mental health, substance use, and social needs
• educate patients
• monitor symptoms and treatment effects
• facilitate referrals
• support medication management
• provide brief evidence-based interventions
• consult with psychiatric providers
• track follow-up and outcomes
• document progress
• develop relapse prevention plans
• travel to listed clinics and wellness centers.
