The Personal Injury Litigation Attorney role is onsite in Atlanta, GA, with a stated base salary of $115,000 plus incentive-based bonuses. Council & Associates represents individuals and families with serious injuries through a client-first legal practice. The attorney manages plaintiff-side injury cases from litigation through resolution, developing case strategy and advancing matters through discovery, depositions, motions, negotiation, mediation, and trial preparation. The role also maintains client communication and works with paralegals, legal assistants, and firm leadership to move cases forward.

What you'll do

• Manage plaintiff-side personal injury caseloads
• develop liability and damages strategies
• draft and respond to discovery
• take and defend depositions
• draft and argue motions
• conduct legal research and prepare briefs
• work with expert witnesses
• prepare cases for mediation, settlement, and trial
• evaluate case value and negotiate settlements
• prepare clients and witnesses
• participate in hearings and trials
• communicate with clients and collaborate with firm staff.
