Security Operations Engineer — Hybrid

The Security Operations Engineer — Hybrid role is hybrid, with three days per week in the office, and may be based in Kansas City, MO; St. Louis, MO; Denver, CO; or Dallas, TX. Compensation is not specified. CRB develops solutions for manufacturers in the life sciences and food and beverage industries; this role reports to the Director of Security Engineering. The engineer strengthens security, privacy, and operational resilience across CRB’s enterprise technology environment. The role reduces organizational risk by implementing and improving security controls, supporting incident response and compliance, and translating regulatory and business requirements into practical technical processes.

What you'll do

• Coordinate with managed security service providers
• maintain the security and privacy risk register
• develop security policies and documentation
• coordinate audit readiness and evidence collection
• implement security controls across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise systems
• administer identity and access processes
• support endpoint security and asset operations
• automate workflows
• support monitoring and incident response
• conduct authorized vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• document findings and remediation
• support privacy and compliance activities.
