The Virtual Clinical Health & Wellness Coach role is 100% remote nationwide, with pay of $28–$45 per hour. GoTo Telemed operates a digital health enterprise where coaches collaborate with primary care physicians, virtual behavioral specialists, and remote dental teams. The coach helps patients translate clinical recommendations into sustainable daily lifestyle changes and supports chronic care management and remote patient monitoring. Through evidence-based coaching, progress tracking, and escalation of concerning symptoms to diagnosing providers, the role contributes to integrated patient care.

What you'll do

• Conduct live video and audio coaching using motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral techniques
• support chronic care management and remote patient monitoring for conditions including diabetes, hypertension, and obesity
• deliver structured evidence-based coaching and track encounters using CPT codes 0591T, 0592T, and 0593T
• translate provider plans into actionable steps
• monitor progress and escalate acute physical or psychological symptoms to licensed providers
• document interventions and interactions in the cloud EHR within 24 hours while following HIPAA standards.

Why this role

Requires an active, unencumbered National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) credential, a bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field, and at least two years of direct health-coaching experience. Coaches manage their own consultation blocks, including days, evenings, or weekends.
