The role also provides technical direction, mentoring, and advice to colleagues and executive staff.

What you'll do

• Direct assigned transmission planning activities
• review work products and manage departmental programs
• analyze generation and load additions, system response, transmission capacity, and related issues
• develop or approve transmission plan and project recommendations
• represent the corporation on teams, committees, and industry groups
• ensure work adheres to applicable NERC Reliability Standards, Georgia ITS guidelines, and internal processes
• train and mentor engineers
• lead strategic positions, complex analyses, research initiatives, and inter-company coordination.
