The Lead Wait Person role is onsite in Carmichael, CA. Starting pay is $18.15–$21.00 per hour. Eskaton is a nonprofit aging-services organization with communities serving older adults and the people who care for them. The role leads wait staff and helps maintain a clean, safe dining room while providing residents with accurate, courteous meal service. By supporting staff training, service standards, and daily dining operations, the Lead Wait Person contributes to residents’ day-to-day experience and the food services department’s work.

What you'll do

• Directly supervise wait staff
• bus and reset tables as needed
• take meal orders accurately and courteously
• assist with new-employee orientation and on-the-job training
• support administrative activities as directed by the Food Service Director
• maintain food-service safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• monitor opening and closing duties
• communicate questions, comments, and complaints to supervisors and cooks and work to resolve issues.
