What you'll do

• Gather and document patient information
• manage patient flow and prepare patients and exam rooms
• obtain records and prescribed x-rays
• provide directed care such as dressing changes, suture removal, and splint or cast removal
• assist with procedures
• complete pre-operative paperwork and schedule referrals and testing
• obtain test results and notify patients under provider direction
• maintain instruments and autoclave per protocol
• document patient interactions
• manage message boxes
• stock and clean rooms and follow infection-control and safety procedures.
