Daycare Toddler Teacher

Job overview

The Daycare Toddler Teacher role is onsite in Sacramento, CA, with pay of $20–$23 per hour. The Learning Experience provides daycare and private preschool, supporting children’s growth and development. The teacher leads a safe, nurturing toddler classroom, implements the L.E.A.P. curriculum in ways suited to each child, and mentors co-teachers. Communication with families and collaboration with center staff support children’s learning and the center’s enrollment and engagement goals.

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers
• manage a safe, nurturing, engaging classroom
• model developmentally supportive behaviors
• implement the L.E.A.P. curriculum for infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children according to individual needs
• communicate children’s progress to parents
• partner with center staff and leadership on enrollment and engagement goals.
