What you'll do

• Supervise mowing, watering, and maintenance of tees, greens, fairways, and related areas
• oversee turf planting, fertilizing, and maintenance
• supervise equipment repair operations
• order supplies within budget
• maintain annual maintenance records
• prepare personnel and cost estimates for the annual maintenance budget
• manage turf, plants, shrubs, trees, fertilizers, soil conditioners, herbicides, pest-control methods, drainage, and irrigation
• plan, assign, and direct staff work
• prepare reports and budget estimates
• hire, orient, and train maintenance employees
• maintain employee and public relations.
