The Medical Billing Specialist role follows a hybrid arrangement, primarily remote with occasional in-office collaboration, in Meridian, ID. Pay is $16–$18 per hour. The Elevate Healthcare Billing Department supports the full revenue cycle process for D&G Medical Associates PLLC. The specialist processes claims and supports eligibility verification, denial resolution, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, and patient billing. Accurate, timely billing and payer follow-up help the department resolve payment delays and maintain revenue-cycle operations.

What you'll do

• Process and submit professional medical claims
• review documentation for billing readiness and compliance
• correct and resubmit rejected or denied claims
• verify insurance coverage and benefits
• update patient demographic and insurance information
• work outstanding claims and resolve payment delays
• contact payers for claim status and resolution
• generate patient statements and assist with billing inquiries
• participate in training, process improvement, and cross-training
• maintain productivity and quality expectations.
