The Heavy Civil Project Coordinator & Preconstruction Operations Specialist role is onsite in Milpitas, CA. Pay is $30 to $35 per hour. BRIXCO Construction delivers infrastructure, paving, and site-development projects across the San Francisco Bay Area. The coordinator supports project management and field operations by managing project documentation, approvals, permits, and vendor logistics from preconstruction through closeout. The role keeps communication and administrative workflows moving so field requirements are addressed without delays.

What you'll do

• Coordinate communication among project managers, field superintendents, and dispatch
• manage submittals, logs, RFIs, and approval follow-up
• maintain and distribute plans and contract documents
• set up project files and cost codes
• research and track municipal permits and inspections
• solicit material quotes and coordinate purchase orders and deliveries
• track change items and orders
• assemble closeout documentation
• provide periodic dispatch coverage during peak periods.
