New Home Solar Project Coordinator

The New Home Solar Project Coordinator is an onsite role in Sacramento, CA. Pay is $30–$33 per hour. The coordinator supports new-home communities from project award through closeout, working with internal and external teams to keep project lifecycles on track. The role manages project documents, coordinates solar design and permitting, tracks code compliance and milestones, and maintains accurate project data. This coordination supports clean departmental handoffs, transparent project status, and operational execution through construction completion.

What you'll do

• Review and manage work orders, change orders, budgets, and solar designs
• coordinate new community and project startup with homebuilders and finance partners
• request solar drawings and coordinate delivery with design and field teams
• coordinate permit requests and requirements
• track Title 24 compliance and resolve issues with builders or energy consultants
• confirm solar system size and document details for design and invoicing
• request project budget setup
• coordinate field scheduling and onsite deliverables
• review project photos
• track milestones and project status
• maintain CRM, spreadsheet, calendar, and tracking-system entries
• work with field crews to resolve escalations.
