PCB Layout Engineer

The PCB Layout Engineer role is onsite in Irvine, CA. Compensation is $120,000 to $150,000 per year. TP-Link develops networking devices and smart home products, including home network products. What you'll do

• Drive PCB layout from concept through production release
• perform component placement, routing, stack-up implementation, impedance control, design-rule checks, and final release
• generate fabrication and assembly outputs
• support fabrication and assembly issues and vendor inquiries
• translate schematics into layout constraints
• coordinate enclosure, connector, antenna, thermal, and assembly requirements
• support high-speed, RF, and power layouts
• apply DFM/DFA/DFT principles
• maintain PCB libraries and models
• support design reviews, prototype builds, validation phases, engineering changes, and revisions
• mentor early-career layout engineers.
