The AI Tools Engineer, Storage Infrastructure role is onsite in San Francisco, CA, with compensation of $140,000–$160,000 per year plus bonus. Crusoe’s mission is to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence, and its Storage engineering team supports the AI cloud platform. The engineer builds AI-powered tools and automation that reduce storage engineering toil and helps the Storage team adopt effective AI coding workflows. Through coaching, use-case development, and collaboration with DevX, the role improves engineering productivity without taking ownership of DevX-managed platform systems.

What you'll do

• Build AI-powered automation for storage operations and workflows
• drive adoption of AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex
• help engineers use AI for test creation, correctness checks, and code review
• coach and mentor engineers
• partner with DevX on tooling and platform-level changes while focusing on Storage adoption and use cases.
